feels like saturday

i'm done with finals =D

i woke up this morning looking out the bedroom window... snow started to gather on the roof and tree outside. i love it. i felt at home, which is weird because i don't live in snow, or the cold for that matter. but for some reason when i looked out the window, i felt so at home. maybe it was because i've been having sleepovers and its nice to wake up and be in a room with someone that's like your sister. i can hear the girls in the other room laughing, giggling, and talking. i'm really excited for next year when i get to live with the girls that make me so happy. they are my true friends here. we are going to have a house. and we can decorate it and make it homey :)


right now im excited to go home for break! but i'm also enjoying my time here with my friends. some of them i won't see again next semester ='( andrew, especially. leaving. he will have an awesome experience on his mission, but its sad to make such a close friendship and then he's going to be gone for two years. although, he's not leaving until may, so i'm pretty sure kimmie and i will visit him. and i'm sure he'll come visit everyone here. i'm going to miss when the three of us (me, kimmie, and andrew) would go for car rides and hang out. i guess it was only a handful of times that we did that, but they were special to me. the three of us get along really well. the other day the three of us went on a run. it was really cold, but really fun. we ran on the canal which is pretty. we ran by the library and people watched us. then today, they ran and i biked with them. we went up the canyon. man, biking up hill is hard!! it was snowing a bit and our eye lashes and hair got frosted. i like the snow a lot. we went through an elementary school. the kids reminded me of being really young. its weird to think that (at the age we are right now) we can talk about things that happened or things that we did ten, or even fifteen, years ago.

anyways, tomorrow is kimmie's birthday!! i'm excited for her.
i'm going to go eat soup now.
